If you searched for
Ali Shakarchy expecting a dropshipping guru, you're about two years late.
His
YouTube channel still has the old thumbnails: winning products for December 2023, a
Minea tutorial, a video asking if
AliExpress is dead. Then it just stops. No goodbye video, no new course launch. His last long video went up about two years ago.
Today
Ali Shakarchy runs UpMatch, a done-for-you
upwork bidding service that promises freelancers and agencies 15 clients in 90 days. His
instagram bio says he went from $0 to $100K on
upwork in 6 months.
So is he legit, what is he actually worth, and should you hand him a few thousand dollars to bid on jobs for you? We checked his channels, his company filings at Companies House, his free
Skool group and every recent review we could find. Some of it is impressive. Some of it you need to read before you book a call.

Who Is Ali Shakarchy?
Ali Shakarchy is a British business owner based in England. UK Companies House lists him as a director of eight different companies since 2016, and records his birth year as 1996, which puts him at around 30.
That company history tells a story on its own. He's clearly been trying things for a decade:
Company | Appointed | Status |
|---|---|---|
Woxar Ltd | 2016 | Dissolved |
WisdomFX Ltd | 2017 | Active |
Yankkfitness Ltd | 2022 | Dissolved |
TTDCommerce Ltd | 2022 | Dissolved |
Adveena Ltd | 2022 | Dissolved |
RBBT Global Ltd | 2023 | Dissolved |
ASYT Ltd | July 2024 | Active |
UpMatch Group Ltd | September 2024 | Active |
Five of the eight are now dissolved. That's not a red flag by itself. In the UK it's common to open a limited company for each new idea and close it when the idea doesn't work. But it does show a pattern you'll see across his whole career: try a model, move on fast if it stalls.

The Dropshipping Years
Ali's
YouTube channel, @AliSEcommerce, was created on March 30, 2023. It has 4.39K subscribers, 33 uploads and about 122,768 total views.
The content was classic 2023 dropshipping
YouTube:
Shopify stores, product research, winning product lists. Here's how his main videos performed:
Video | Views |
|---|---|
| 22K |
| 5.2K |
10 INSANE PRODUCTS TO SELL IN DECEMBER 2023 | 1.9K |
10 WINNING PRODUCTS TO SELL NOW IN 2024 | 1.5K |
5 Unique Business Models To Start in 2024 | 1K |
COMPLETE A-Z Full Dropshipping Tutorial for Beginners (2024) | 816 |
Look at that last line. A 55-minute, full A to Z dropshipping tutorial, and fewer than 1,000 people watched it. That's the reality of starting a dropshipping channel in 2023, when hundreds of creators were already posting the same videos.
His Shorts tell you where his head was going: "
Amazon FBA S**ks...", "Become a Print On Demand KING in 2024" and "3 SERIOUS alternatives to
chatgpt Premium". Add a long video called "5 Unique Business Models To Start in 2024" and it's clear he was already looking for the next thing.
If you're wondering whether he ever sold a dropshipping course: we couldn't find one. No sales page and no paid ecom community. His ecom teaching seems to have been free, on
YouTube.
The Pivot: From Dropshipping to Upwork
After dropshipping, Ali moved to
upwork, selling Meta ads management as a freelancer. His free
Skool group says he made $100,000 selling Meta Ads management on
upwork in under 12 months. His
instagram bio puts it as "$0 to $100K on
upwork in 6 months". Six months or twelve, depending on where you look. Either way, it's his own number, and we couldn't check it.
In September 2024 he registered UpMatch Group Ltd, and UpMatch became his main business.
Era | What Ali Was Doing |
|---|---|
2016 to 2022 | Several small UK companies, most later dissolved |
2023 to early 2024 | |
After dropshipping | Freelancing on |
September 2024 onward | Founder of UpMatch, a done-for-you |
2026 | UpMatch press releases about AI bidding tools |
It's a smart pivot on paper. Dropshipping education is crowded and hard to monetize at 4,000 subscribers. But thousands of freelancers and small agencies are stuck on
upwork, paying for Connects and getting ignored. Selling them a fix is a much clearer business.
What Is UpMatch?
UpMatch is a service that bids on
upwork jobs for you. According to the UpMatch website and its August 2026 press release, it:
Bids on new
upwork jobs within five minutes of them going liveWrites a tailored cover letter for each job
Creates AI-generated
Loom videos for outreachRanks jobs with an "AI Match Score"
Sends daily and weekly bidding reports
The headline promise on the homepage is bold: "We Guarantee You 15 Clients In The Next 90 Days", followed by "if you don't get clients, we don't get paid".

Detail | What We Found |

Price | Not on the website. You book a demo call first |
Reported price | $2,800 for 3 months, per one 2026 reviewer. Another mentions a fee of about £2,000 |

The free

Ali Shakarchy Net Worth in 2026
There's no published
Ali Shakarchy net worth, and the usual celebrity net worth sites don't cover him yet. But unlike most gurus, there is one hard number available, because UK companies have to file accounts publicly.
UpMatch Group Ltd filed its first accounts in June 2026, covering September 14, 2024 to September 30, 2025. Here's what they show:
Item | Amount |
|---|---|
Cash at bank | £27,038 |
Computer equipment (after depreciation) | £3,280 |
Owed to creditors (tax, director loan, accruals) | £10,207 |
Net assets | £20,111 |
Average employees | 1 |
A few things to keep in mind before reading too much into this. Small UK companies don't have to publish revenue or profit, so we can't see how much UpMatch actually brought in. Money Ali paid himself in salary or dividends wouldn't show up here. And his
upwork freelancing income may have run through a different company, like ASYT Ltd, which he set up two months earlier.
Still, it's a useful reality check. A business promising freelancers 15 clients in 90 days reported one average employee and about £20,000 in net assets after its first year. That's a real, working small business. It's not the picture of a large agency.
Our take: nothing public suggests
Ali Shakarchy has a seven-figure net worth. The $100K
upwork claim is revenue, not savings, and his main company's books show a small, one-person business. Anyone quoting a million-dollar figure for him is guessing.
What UpMatch Clients Say
UpMatch has a 4.2 TrustScore (as of October 2026) on Trustpilot from 42 reviews, with 89% at five stars. The profile was claimed by the company in September 2024.
That looks strong. But the two most detailed reviews, both from 2026, are the ones worth reading carefully.
What Happy Clients Say | What Unhappy Clients Say |
|---|---|
Saves hours a day on writing proposals | Paid thousands, got zero clients |
Helped improve their | Connects costs added hundreds on top of the fee |
One agency says it closed $9K in monthly recurring revenue within 45 days | The "guarantee" in the contract was narrower than the sales pitch |
Helpful, responsive team | Refunds refused, or only partly paid after complaints |
The $4,000 review
In a review posted October 1, 2026, a client says they paid $2,800 for three months, which the sales recap tied to 1,440 bids and a "3-client guarantee". On top of that, they say they spent about $1,155 on
upwork Connects, plus
upwork Agency Plus and
Loom, for a total of over $4,000.
According to the reviewer, UpMatch sent about 600 bids in three months, less than half the promised volume, and the result was zero interviews and zero clients. They also say the contract described the guarantee as continued bidding until three clients came in, paid for with their own Connects, and that another clause said results weren't guaranteed. When they asked for a refund, they say it was refused. We couldn't see a public reply from UpMatch to this review.

A second reviewer, updated September 15, 2026, says they spent around £2,000 in fees and up to £1,000 on credits and got zero business. They warn readers to take the money-back guarantee "with a pinch of salt". UpMatch replied publicly, asking them to get in touch, and the reviewer's later update says they got a partial refund after the company apologised.
These are individual accounts, and we can't verify them. But they're specific, recent, and they point at the same issue: the gap between "15 clients or you don't pay" on the website and what the contract actually says.
Is Ali Shakarchy Legit?
He's a real person running a real, registered business. UpMatch files its accounts, has a free community with useful templates, and has clients who say it worked for them. He also hasn't hidden his past. The dropshipping videos are still up.
The concern isn't fraud. It's expectations. A big guarantee on the homepage, no public price, and recent reviews saying the contract tells a different story is a combination you should take seriously before paying.
In His Favor | Reasons for Caution |
|---|---|
Registered UK company with public accounts | Prices aren't public, you only get them on a sales call |
Free | Two detailed 2026 reviews report zero clients, one refund refused and one only partly refunded |
4.2 | Reviewers say the contract guarantee is narrower than the website's |
Hands-on experience selling on | Connects and tools can add hundreds or more on top of the fee |
Didn't scrub his old dropshipping content | Income claims like "$0 to $100K" are self-reported |
What We Could and Couldn't Verify
Claim | Verified? |
|---|---|
He's the director of UpMatch Group Ltd | Yes, Companies House |
UpMatch net assets of £20,111 (Sept 2025) | Yes, filed accounts |
He ran a dropshipping | Yes, @AliSEcommerce |
He sold an ecom course | No evidence found |
$0 to $100K on | His own claim only |
15 clients in 90 days guarantee | On the website, but reviewers dispute the contract terms |
Price of UpMatch | Only from reviewers ($2,800 for 3 months, about £2,000) |
Personal net worth | Not public |
Should You Use UpMatch?
Start with the free
Skool group. If his templates and bidding approach make sense to you, you'll learn a lot without spending anything.
If you do book a call, ask for the contract before you pay a single installment. Read exactly what the guarantee says, how many bids you get per month, and whether unused bids roll over or get refunded. Then add up the real cost, including Connects and tools, not just the service fee.
And if you're new to freelancing, you may not need a bidding service at all yet. Our guides to AI freelancing for beginners and AI automation business models are cheaper places to start. If you came here from his dropshipping videos, read whether dropshipping is dead in 2026 and how to start dropshipping.

Bottom Line
Nothing we found suggests
Ali Shakarchy is running a scam, and nothing suggests he's a hidden millionaire either. He's a young UK founder who tried dropshipping
YouTube, found it crowded, and built a small but real
upwork service business instead.
His free
Skool group is worth a look. His paid service might work for you, plenty of clients say it did. Just don't let a "15 clients or you don't pay" headline replace reading the contract, because that's exactly where recent unhappy clients say things went wrong.
