Danni Ackerman is The Niche Lady, a full-time reseller, educator, and YouTube content creator who has built a massive following teaching people how to find profitable items to flip at thrift stores, estate sales, and flea markets. Her channel focuses on developing the instinct and eye for valuable items that separates successful resellers from hobbyists.

Content covers how to identify valuable niche items at thrift stores and estate sales, developing your "picker eye" for profitable reselling finds, thrift haul videos with detailed explanations of why specific items were picked, pricing strategies for eBay, Poshmark, and other reselling platforms, building a sustainable full-time reselling business, estate sale strategies and how to work auction environments, understanding niche collectibles and vintage items that command premium prices, the psychology of sourcing and decision-making in reselling, scaling from casual thrifter to professional reseller, and live sourcing videos showing real-time buying decisions.

What makes Danni exceptional is her teaching methodology. Rather than just showing what she bought and what it sold for, she explains her thought process — why she picked up a specific item, what makes it valuable, and how to recognize similar opportunities. This "teach you to fish" approach helps viewers develop their own instincts rather than just copying specific finds. Her emphasis on niche knowledge (understanding specific categories deeply rather than knowing a little about everything) gives her students a framework for building expertise that compounds over time.

Danni monetizes through her active reselling business, YouTube ad revenue, her website thenichelady.com with educational resources, and live shows including the Niche Shopping Network. She has also built a community of resellers who share knowledge and support each other in growing their businesses.

For Moonlite users, reselling is one of the most accessible side hustles and full-time business opportunities available. Starting capital can be as low as $10-50 at a thrift store, and Danni demonstrates that with the right knowledge, items bought for $1-10 can sell for $50-500+. The key differentiator Danni teaches — niche expertise — is what separates $500/month hobbyists from $5,000+/month professionals. Her content provides the foundational knowledge and pattern recognition skills that make reselling profitable at scale.
