Billy Kyle is one of the most recognized drone content creators on YouTube, with over 8 years of experience in aerial photography and videography. His channel serves as the go-to resource for aspiring drone entrepreneurs looking to turn their passion for flying into a profitable business.

Content covers drone photography and videography business tutorials, how to get your FAA Part 107 certification, real estate drone photography workflows, commercial drone job pricing and bidding, drone gear reviews and comparisons (DJI Mini, Air, Mavic series), editing aerial footage in Adobe Premiere Pro and Lightroom, building a drone services portfolio, client acquisition and marketing for drone operators, and behind-the-scenes of real commercial drone jobs.

What makes Billy exceptional is his unique combination of technical expertise and business acumen. He doesn't just teach how to fly — he teaches how to build a profitable aerial photography and videography business. He co-created a real estate photo business course with Ken Dono, and his tutorials break down the exact workflows professional drone operators use for real estate, construction, events, and commercial clients.

Billy monetizes through YouTube ad revenue, course sales (real estate photo business course), brand partnerships with drone manufacturers, affiliate marketing for gear, and his own commercial drone operation. His content has helped thousands of aspiring drone pilots understand the business side of the industry.

For Moonlite users, the commercial drone industry is booming — expected to reach $54B by 2030. Starting a drone photography business requires relatively low startup costs ($1,500-5,000 for a quality drone, Part 107 license ~$175), and experienced operators can charge $150-500+ per job for real estate, construction progress, inspections, and event coverage. Billy shows the exact path from hobbyist to profitable drone business owner.
