Basia Adamiec is a self-taught jewelry metalsmith and the creator of The Art of Metalsmithing, a YouTube channel and education platform dedicated to teaching jewelry metalsmithing to beginners and intermediate crafters. She has built a dedicated following with approximately 5,100+ Instagram followers and a growing YouTube audience, plus an active Patreon community.

Her content covers beginner-friendly metalsmithing tutorials for rings, necklaces, and pendants, soldering techniques for silver, brass, and copper jewelry, gemstone setting methods and stone selection, studio setup guides and tool recommendations on a budget, jewelry finishing and polishing techniques, metal texturing and surface design, business tips for selling handmade jewelry, and studio vlogs showing the creative process.

What makes Basia stand out is her approachability as a self-taught metalsmith. She demystifies a craft that many perceive as requiring expensive equipment and formal training. Her tutorials break down complex techniques into manageable steps, making metalsmithing accessible to hobbyists and aspiring jewelry entrepreneurs. She also runs her own jewelry brand, Basia Stardust Mine, demonstrating the business side of the craft.

Basia monetizes through Patreon memberships with exclusive content and educational PDFs, her Basia Stardust Mine jewelry brand direct sales, YouTube ad revenue, affiliate partnerships with jewelry supply companies, and downloadable educational materials and guides.

For Moonlite users, Basia represents the growing handmade jewelry economy — a space where creators can build both an audience and a product-based business simultaneously. The handmade jewelry market on platforms like Etsy continues to grow, and educational content in this niche has high engagement and commercial intent from viewers looking to start their own jewelry businesses.
