Keep in mind that they're still rolling this feature out, so you probably don't have access yet. But here's how to tell if you do:
Go to create a reel
Select any video and hit next
If you don't have it yet, then your New reel page will look like this:
If you can tag people and add location, but it don't have a "Add products" option with a "New" badge next to it yet, then unfortunately, you're not one of the chosen ones... yet.
They're rolling it out over the next few weeks though, so be patient.
Here's a sneak peak at how it works for people who don't have access
You can tell you have the feature if you see add products on your New Reel page
When you click it, you can see that there are listed affiliate programs
You can also paste a product link and see if it shows up
Once you've selected a product, you can see what your estimated commission would be
Then you hit next and done and post it
Once it's in your reel, you'll see a link pop up in the bottom left that people can click and go directly to the store where they can checkout on platform
What you can do to get ready if you don't have access yet
First, make sure you have a professional creator account
Click your profile at the bottom right
Click settings at top right
Scroll down to "For professionals"
Click "Account type and tools"
Click "Switch to professional account"
Click "Next"
Click "Digital creator"
Click "Switch to professional account"
Make sure "Creator" is selected
Hit "Next"
Once you're done, when you go to your profile page, you should see something that says "Professional Dashboard".
That's how you know you now have an eligible professional account.
