orders have started coming in on my dropshipping store, and now I’m a bit confused about fulfillment.
right now i’m fulfilling orders directly through my supplier, but i’m wondering if it makes more sense to receive the products at my own warehouse first and then ship them myself. one reason i’m thinking about this is customer data, if i handle fulfillment myself, customer details wouldn’t go straight to the supplier.
I’m also curious what most dropshippers actually do once they reach this stage, especially when it comes to keeping shipping times fast and protecting customer info so suppliers don’t contact customers directly.
