I am in that frustrating middle zone where my job pays the bills but my Etsy shop is the only thing that feels worth my time.
The shop started as a side hustle but now it is what I think about every day designing, improving listings, planning content and figuring out how to grow it properly. Last year I made about $10k total and this year I can see momentum building but it still feels risky to jump too early.
I am not looking for just go for it advice. I want to be smart about timing. My personal goal is consistent monthly income plus an emergency buffer but part of me wonders if you ever truly feel ready.
For those who actually made the leap, what flipped the switch for you?
Was it hitting a number, seeing a trend you trusted or realizing staying in your job felt worse than the risk of leaving? And looking back what do you wish you had known before going full time?
