Everywhere I look, people say the same thing Start with digital products. No shipping. No inventory. Way easier.
But when I actually browse Etsy I see a lot of digital shops with hundreds of listings and barely any sales.
So now I am confused.
Physical products come with packaging shipping, delays and returns. Digital products skip all of that but then you are competing with thousands of near identical files racing to the bottom on price and trying to win trust without anything tangible.
For those who have actually tried one (or both)
Did digital feel easier in practice or did it just trade physical stress for visibility and marketing stress? And knowing what you know now which path would you choose if you were starting from zero today?
