I started my first faceless Youtube channel around 3 months ago and all my videos were ai generated.
My process was pretty simple and honestly just the same thing I saw everyone else doing:
scripts from chatgpt
voiceovers using elevenlabs
images generated with leonardo ai
then I put everything together in capcut
Basically I just followed what my competitors were already doing.
The channel isn’t dead either. I’m getting views, around 2k per video on average. So once I felt like things were actually moving, I applied for monetization.
And that’s where things kinda went wrong.
Youtube rejected my monetization request and put restrictions on the channel. No approval. No clear explanation either.
What I don’t really understand is… I still see a lot of ai generated channels that are monetized and running ads just fine. So now im confused why mine got rejected but theres didn’t.
Is this happening because my videos are ai generated? or is there something specific Youtube is flagging that im missing?
If anyone here has gone through this or knows how Youtube is handling AI content right now id really appreciate some insight. This whole thing is kinda frustrating.
