Livestream sales are good, ads are useless… should I switch to affiliates?

I sell mainly through TikTok Shop livestreams, and that’s where most of my sales come from. I also post short 10-second videos just to keep my account active, but they don’t really drive sales on their own.

I’ve tried running a couple of TikTok campaigns (followers, video boost, etc.) but honestly… they didn’t do much for reach or conversions. I’m not sure if I’m using the wrong campaign type or if ads just don’t work well for my kind of content.

For anyone who sells through LIVEs or short-form videos:

• Are there any specific TikTok campaigns that actually help sellers?

• Is it smarter to skip ads entirely and focus on affiliates instead?

• Does boosting livestream replays or product videos ever make a difference?
