I wanted to share something that surprised me mostly because I never expected it to work this well. I put together a small online course a while back, nothing huge nothing fancy honestly I made it for people who kept asking me the same questions over and over.
When I finally launched it I figured maybe a couple of people would buy it. But somehow it pulled in over six thousand dollars in just a few days. It felt unreal at first and a little weird too because I am not a big creator, I do not have a massive audience and I was not trying to run one of those dramatic launch week campaigns.
Looking back I think a few things quietly helped more than I realized:

I spent time actually talking to people before building anything

I shared small pieces of what I knew for free for weeks

I did not oversell it I just explained who it was for and why I made it

And weirdly enough the people who bought first were the ones who had been silently watching not the ones who were loud in the comments
It was not a perfect launch. The page was simple, the videos were not studio quality, and I definitely made mistakes. But it worked anyway.
I am sharing this because I always thought only big creators got results like this and now I am realizing a small, honest course with the right problem behind it can still do surprisingly well.
