When I started dropshipping like 3 years ago, I also used to think the same thing… does dropshipping even work or not? Even at that time so many people were saying dropshipping is dead. I’m lucky I didn’t listenn to them and I kept putting in time and money with consistency.
Short answer is: no, dropshipping is not dead.
Now let’s talk about why?
It’s always the same type of people who say dropshipping is dead, the ones who never became successful in it. Because they never actually understood dropshipping properly and they also never fix their own mistakes.
They pick one random product, pick a supplier from AliExpress, run some Meta ads, and think okay this is dropshipping. But, when they don’t get results, they start saying dropshipping is dead.
But the reality is, dropshipping is a legit ecommerce business. You’re selling products online that solve peoples problems, you don’t have any inventory risk, you don’t lose big money, you don’t need office expenses. You literally manage everything from your laptop, from anywhere.
people are never gonna stop buying things online, and as long as online shopping exists, dropshipping will also exist. Yeah, some methods and markting techniques will change over time, but the business model itsself is never gonna be dead.
