Been thinking a lot about starting something of my own lately. I’ve got a solid tech background and a few security certs, but I’m at that point where working for someone else just doesn’t feel fulfilling anymore.
If you were starting completely from scratch, what would you focus on first skills, niche, or finding clients? And how did you land those first few paying gigs when nobody knew your name yet?
Just trying to figure out if this path is actually realistic in 2026 or if I’m getting ahead of myself.
