I’ve been learning about cybersecurity and recently got really interested in IoT, all these connected devices everywhere seem like a massive security risk but also a big opportunity.
If you work in IoT security, how did you get into it? Did you come from a networking background or something else? What skills or tools helped you most?
I’d love to hear what kind of work you actually do day-to-day and whether it’s more research, consulting, or hands-on testing. Trying to figure out what direction to take if I want to specialize here.
