Hey guys,
I keep seeing YouTube videos call dropshipping passive income, but the more I research, the more it sounds like a part-time job.
Between managing suppliers, answering customer emails, monitoring orders, and running ads, it doesn’t really seem that passive.
So I’m curious:
- How many hours per week does dropshipping actually take to manage properly?
- Does it get easier once your store is running, or does it stay time consuming?
- Is automation software (like DSers or AutoDS) actually helpful, or just adds more complications?
- For someone with a full-time job, is it even realistic to start dropshipping on the side?
I’d really appreciate honest replies from people currently running stores in 2025. I just want to understand whether this is something that can fit into a few hours a day, or if it slowly turns into a full-time commitment.
