I’m new to this and just got my first inquiry for pet sitting. The problem is, I don’t want to overcharge and scare them off, but I also don’t want to undersell myself and make it not worth the time.
I’ve checked Google and the prices are all over the place, some people say $15 a visit, others $40+. I guess it depends on location and what’s included, but I’d like to hear from real people actually doing it.
- Do you usually charge per visit, per hour, or per day?
- And do you adjust rates if there’s more than one pet?
Any advice would really help me set a fair starting point.
