I’ve been looking into ways to earn extra income and online English tutoring keeps popping up. The idea of teaching students from different countries sounds interesting, but I have no clue how to actually start.
Do I need certifications like TEFL to land students, or can I just sign up on platforms like Cambly, Preply, or iTalki and start right away? Also, is it realistic to make decent side hustle money from this, or is it more pocket change unless you go full-time?
If anyone here has tried it, I’d really appreciate hearing what worked for you when you were just starting out.
