I started uploading to Adobe Stock about a year ago, and it took me a while to figure out what actually sells. At first I just dumped random photos from my camera roll, big mistake. Once I started treating it like a business, things clicked.
For me, the big three have been: keywording properly (don’t skip this step), uploading consistently even if it’s just a few files each week, and focusing on stuff that has commercial value, not just “pretty pictures.” Lifestyle shots, people working, tech setups, all of that has done way better for me than landscapes.
It’s not crazy money, but it’s steady. If you’re patient, the portfolio effect really kicks in and you start seeing sales almost daily. Anyone else selling here? Curious if video is worth diving into compared to photos.
