I’ve been toying with the idea of becoming a business coach, but I’m not sure where to even start. I’ve got experience running my own small business and mentoring a few people informally, and I actually enjoy that part more than the day-to-day operations.
The thing I’m struggling with is, how do you turn that into a real coaching business? Do you need certifications to be taken seriously, or is it more about personal branding and testimonials? And how do you even find your first paying clients without sounding like every other “guru” out there?
If anyone here has made the leap into coaching, I’d love to hear what worked for you and what you wish you had done differently early on.
