Typical Salary for Yoga Teachers in the U.S.?

Yoga blogger
I’ve been looking into teaching yoga more seriously and I’m trying to get a sense of what the pay actually looks like in the U.S. From what I’ve seen so far, a lot of studio classes pay somewhere around $30–$50 per class, though some places go higher if you already have experience or a following.

Private lessons and corporate gigs seem like where the real money is, people are saying $75–$150 an hour isn’t unusual if you can land those. But at the same time, I’ve also read stories of teachers making barely enough to cover rent, especially when just starting out.

If anyone here is teaching yoga full-time or part-time, what’s been your experience? Is it realistic to rely on this as a main income, or is it usually something people do alongside another job?
