I’ve noticed almost every AI app these days goes straight for the subscription model, $10, $20, $30 a month. But I’m wondering if anyone here has found success monetizing an AI app in a different way?
Like pay-per-use, ads, one-time purchase, credits system, or maybe even selling premium features as add-ons instead of locking everything behind a monthly fee.
Subscriptions make sense for recurring revenue, but at the same time it feels like users are getting burned out by them. Has anyone actually managed to build decent revenue with a different approach?
