I’ve been curious about this, between UI/UX designers and digital marketers, who actually ends up making more money long term?
On one side, design feels like a stable skill because every app, website, or product needs good UI/UX. But on the other hand, digital marketing is directly tied to revenue, so companies might pay more if you can bring in sales.
I’ve seen freelance designers charging high rates, but I’ve also seen marketers running ads or SEO who make serious money.
If anyone here has worked in both fields (or knows people who do), which career path do you think has a higher earning ceiling?
