I keep seeing stats that say most affiliate marketers never really make any money, or at least not enough to matter. And honestly, I kind of believe it, I’ve tried a couple affiliate programs myself and it’s not as easy as YouTube videos make it sound.
From my experience, the hardest part is traffic. Setting up links is easy, but actually getting consistent clicks and conversions is another story. Feels like you either need paid ads budget, SEO skills, or a big social following to make it work.
Curious what you guys think, is the 90% failure rate just because people quit too soon, or is affiliate marketing actually oversaturated now?
