Thinking of Starting on YouTube? Read This First
It’s not too hard to find a niche, but most of my views came from YouTube Shorts, and since YouTube pays much less for Shorts, the earnings weren’t great. Long-form videos usually take a while to pick up traction, and you also need at least 1,000 subscribers before you can even turn on monetization, which can be tough. Personally, I’d recommend starting with TikTok, it’s quicker and easier to grow there. Plus, YouTube has been flagging (and sometimes underpaying) AI-generated content, so that whole route might become unstable soon.
