Beginner friendly: Challenging
Multi-level marketing (MLM) businesses often market themselves as easy ways to make money, but in reality, they can be very difficult for the average beginner. The model relies heavily on recruiting others to sell products or services, which can be challenging without prior sales experience or a large network. Many people online report struggling to turn a profit due to the pressure to constantly recruit new members and the high competition within the company. Costs range from $100 to $1000 to get started, and it typically takes 2 months to 1 year to see any meaningful profit, if at all. I'd rate it a 1 because most people will fail or get stuck without serious help or experience.
