Bold ecom university

I just had one of the worst calls with a company called BOLD ECOM that offers e-commerce coaching. The rep I spoke with (Demario, from boldecom.com) kept asking me the same questions over and over. I answered every time, but because my answers weren’t the “straightforward” ones he wanted, he told me they were incoherent.

And then, he called me lazy. Yes, lazy. Because I haven’t “achieved anything” yet.

That’s crazy to me. I’ve been testing products, focusing on one store/brand, even building communities around it. No, I haven’t gotten enough sales or made profit yet, but I’ve been trying and putting in the work, took time off because I hurt my back on was clutches and wheel chair and could walk. To be insulted and told I’m lazy by someone trying to sell me coaching? Absolutely atrocious.

What makes this even more ridiculous is that Ethan (the owner) once sent out an email bragging about going “from broke cashier to $1.1M in sales per year.” In that story, the person failed 24 products, made $30k in sales with zero profit, and only then hit success. If 24 failures isn’t “lazy,” then why am I being called lazy for still trying?

If this is how they treat potential customers, I’d stay far away from BOLD ECOM. Instead of listening, encouraging, and guiding, their reps insult you and dismiss your efforts. Totally unprofessional.
