The more time you can give to dropshipping, the better your results will be. In my case, I started while working 9 to 5. I had family responsibilities, but I still managed to work around 4 hours a day on my store. I treated it seriously and focused on it part time with the goal of growing it enough so I could eventually leave my full time job and do dropshipping full time.
If you want to succeed, I’d say this:
if you have a full time job, try to dedicate at least 3 hours a day to dropshipping. That time is important so you can practice, apply what you learn, and actually move forward.
If you give it less time than that, it becomes hard to understand things and implement properly. You’ll end up wasting time, because you’re competing with people who are already putting in 8 hours a day. And if you don’t stay consistent, you’ll fall behind.
