Another thing is, taking a big risk almost forces you to work harder. If you struggle with motivation or direction, sometimes the best move is to jump into the deep end. When it’s “swim or die,” that’s when you make the most progress. That’s been true in my life every time, the biggest growth came when things were chaotic and I had no choice but to make it work.
And honestly, that’s how the greatest people operate. If you read about Elon, every single company he built was maximum chaos, maximum risk, all or nothing. And that’s exactly why the outcomes were so huge.
