The risk is really low.
The risk in anything usually comes from how much money you’re putting in, and with detailing you’re talking about five hundred to a thousand bucks to get started. So your actual downside is five hundred to a thousand. That’s it. It’s very small.
If you stay solo, there’s almost no real risk. Where things get risky is way down the road, once you scale. You hire an employee, you spend a year training them, then they quit, they mess up someone’s car, or they take your clients. That stuff can hurt your reputation. But as a beginner doing your own work, the risk is tiny.
And the truth is most beginners succeed. In my program our success rate is around eighty to ninety percent. The only people who don’t succeed are the ones who just stop showing up. Or they have some life event come up. Or they don’t take it seriously. It’s really hard to fail if you actually stick with it.
The only way you fail is if you quit.
