Time/week spent: 20h - 25h

I was doing this part-time at first and it averaged around twenty to twenty five hours per week. That includes shooting, editing, client communication, and everything that comes with running it as a real business. Wedding days can be full days, but the week to week is flexible and usually in that range when you are building and staying consistent.
