I’d rate it a 3 out of 5 because while freelance writing can provide a decent baseline income, it often lacks predictability. Some months may bring in consistent work and income, while others may be leaner, depending on client demand and project availability. It's not as unstable as a 2, where income is highly erratic, but it doesn't offer the steady reliability of a 4, where most months are similar in income.
