I’d rate it a 3 out of 5 because while there is potential for a decent baseline income, it can be unreliable at times. Many graphic designers experience fluctuations in client demand and project availability, leading to income variability. However, with a strong portfolio and consistent marketing efforts, some stability can be achieved, distinguishing it from a 2. It’s not a 4 because the predictability isn’t as high as more traditional jobs.
