Stable income: Somewhat stable
I’d rate it a 3 out of 5 because while desktop publishing can provide a decent baseline income, it often lacks the predictability and stability of a traditional job. Some months may be more lucrative than others depending on client demand and project availability, but it generally offers more consistency than highly volatile side hustles. It's not a 2 because there is a level of skill and demand that can lead to regular work, but it's not a 4 because it doesn't guarantee a steady paycheck every month.
