Stable income: Somewhat stable
I’d rate it a 3 out of 5 because while interior design can provide a decent baseline income, it often lacks predictability. Many factors, such as client availability, market demand, and competition, can lead to fluctuations in income. It’s not as unstable as some freelance gigs, but it doesn’t offer the consistency of a traditional job paycheck. It’s not a 2 because there is potential for steady work with the right network and reputation, but it’s not a 4 due to the inherent uncertainties in client-based work.
