I’d rate it a 3 out of 5 because while motion design can provide a decent baseline income, it often lacks the predictability and stability of a traditional job. Many motion designers experience fluctuations in client demand and project availability, leading to periods of inconsistency. However, with a strong portfolio and network, some level of reliability can be achieved, making it more stable than a 2 but not as predictable as a 4.
