Passive income: NO

Earning passive income as a resume consultant is challenging because the work is inherently service-based and requires personal input. To make it passive, one would need to create systems like automated resume review tools or outsource the work to a team. However, most people don't reach this level due to the personalized nature of the service and the difficulty in maintaining quality without direct involvement. While a few outliers might succeed by building a brand and hiring others, the majority find it remains an active income stream. Misleading expectations often involve underestimating the time needed to build a reliable system or overestimating the demand for automated services. From my experience and community insights, it becomes passive mainly for those who can scale effectively and manage a team, not for individual consultants.
