Earning passive income as a card designer is challenging and rare. Most people need to actively create and market their designs. To make it passive, one would need to establish a strong online presence, automate sales through platforms like Etsy or their own website, and possibly outsource production and shipping. However, reaching this level is uncommon and usually limited to those who have a unique style, strong branding, and a large following. Many fall for the myth that simply uploading designs will lead to passive income, but consistent effort in marketing and customer engagement is typically required. Only a few outliers achieve true passivity, often after years of active work.
