Flexible hours: YES

Dropshipping

Dropshipping offers flexible hours, but with some caveats.

What's flexible:

  • No fixed schedule — work when you want
  • Product research and ad creation can be done anytime
  • No employees or team to coordinate with (initially)
  • Can be done alongside a full-time job

What's less flexible:

  • Customer service: Customers expect responses within 24 hours. Ignoring messages leads to chargebacks and bad reviews.
  • Ad monitoring: A campaign that worked yesterday can start bleeding money today. Checking ad performance daily is non-negotiable.
  • Order processing: Orders need to be forwarded to suppliers within 24-48 hours

It's flexible in the sense that you choose WHEN to do the work, but the work needs to happen regularly. You can't take a week off without things falling apart — unlike FBA where Amazon keeps fulfilling orders regardless.
